There are no holidays in Russian torture chambers. Ukrainians in captivity will not be able to celebrate the New Year with their families, decorate the Christmas tree and give gifts to their children.
Ukrainians in captivity continue to be tortured on a daily basis, and the democratic world has ample evidence of Russia’s violations of the Geneva Conventions. In fact, the “Moscow Conventions” (https://moscowconvention.com/) are now in effect, allowing torture of prisoners of war, violence, executions, and the killing of civilians. They are becoming the new normal, as there are no consequences for the terrorist state. There is no mechanism for bringing to justice.
The world’s dictatorial regimes have united and help each other without fear of escalation. Before 2014, it was also hard for us to believe in the possibility of war. But today, there are no guarantees of peace for any country. The Third World War has begun. And it has no breaks for holidays. Terrorists can only be stopped by force. There is still a chance to defeat them on the territory of Ukraine. There is still a chance to avoid death and destruction in other countries.
